In the first step to work with AMOS, I tried to import the data to AMOS but there is a little problem. Thus, first I converted *xlsx to *xls, but it didn't work. Then, I converted my data to *csv, but still there is problem to open my data in AMOS. Could you please guide me?
AMOS is compatible with SPSS. If you have your data in Excel, it is easy to be opened in SPSS. Save it as SPSS file, then in AMOS you can select this file to work through.

You could try to import your data into SPSS, then start AMOS in SPSS Statistics menu. If I recall correctly, AMOS reads the current SPSS file, so you can work with it.

As the answers presented above, I think you should organize you data in SPSS first and then import the SPSS file to AMOS. So, I think you should take some time to learn SPSS, especially the data organization.

First of all you create Spss data file or you save your data from other source into Spss. In Amos screen, you choose icon "select data file" . Using the filename, you can select the data file. Once you found data file, double click on it. The you will see the file name containing the data you will work. Here you click OK. Then you choose the icon "list of variables in data set". From here you click and drag the variable name into the respective box and release. Repeat this for other variable names until all data are being input accordingly.

Firstly, you should be imported your data in the SPSS sheet. In SPSS22, AMOS was added in command analysis. Can you tell me the type of error? The problem may be because of data SPSS sheet. Kindly, is it possible to send it to me?
