it depends on condition taken by original author during simulation

I just want to know: After seeing the experimental/simulated results, how can we identify whether the work is authentic or not?

I do not think there will be a much difference if the simulation settings, fabricated materials, process and measurements are standard. It is also same problem in other areas as well.

Fabricate and test it experimentally.

Validate the simulations results with other software.

Seat Sir, as a reader, I will not validate any results, we do not waste our valuable time for validating their results. The query is, how to find the paper is good or not, whether the author has manipulated the data or not, how to find it...???

As s PhD student that what I did to learn a new technique for improving my designs.

If the simulations results were compared with other software by the author...

If the authors are publishing their work continuesly we can believe the results. Else we can't predict real or manipulated results..... The facilities available for measurement, labs and their profile may give us some idea to some extent whether to believe the results or not. This is only gives a high probability of believing but not 100%.

Good question Sudipta Maity , same question has crossed my mind and troubled me also, because many a times I also fail to obtain the same results in good journal papers. Although it is neither ethical nor morally correct to manipulate the results obtained after fabrication, we all know that it can be done. It is really hard to predict, as there is a race in institutions and universities among students to publish papers, sometimes they have pressure to meet the deadlines or they are under pressure to survive or get promoted. I feel only paper publication should not be a boundation to judge performance, their should be some other criterion also.

For your question, I like what Anvesh has suggested. The history of publications from authors, affiliations, acknowledgements may be considered to judge the credibility to some extent.

After seeing the experimental/simulated results of an antenna, in actual just to compare the fabricated and experimental result. but Dr. Nitin is right that manipulation is possible.which is a very wrong practice.

Thanks to all for giving valuable comments. If the author have good publication, quality of work etc, he is authentic, we can trust his/her work. But still, I do find lots of work, where simulation and measurements are matching exactly. This kind of matching is not found from Prof. K. W. Leung/Prof. K M Luk/ Prof. A A Kishk, / Prof. K F Lee etc work.

Any small hints can also give a chance to identify manipulated work. We will not complain to the editor. If we can identify such kind of work, we will not waste our lime on that paper. Let them publish. We do not have problem.
