I share a paragraph from my recent publication (2019), for those whose pcb (printed circuit board) of the brain still leaves sufficient space to swim against the current and to confront the unknown and to leap far beyond the measurable.

It is usually better to be second in science and technology than to be first past the post. History is full of many such examples.
First or second past the post is immaterial. It is the Yin-Yang synthesis of science that really and truly matters, even after millennia. Insight and innovation hail even the last in the line.
