There have been multiple lambda max values of eucalyptol in literature. The lambda max value came to be 206nm on UV-VIS Spectrophotometer. The stock solution of 10,000 mg/L was made nd its dilutions of 500,1000,1500,2000,2500,3000,3500,4000,4500 and 5000 mg/L were made and the calibration curve obtained form their absorbance was a straight line passing through the origin and the R2 value to be 0.99 but using this straight line equation does not give the correct concentration present in the extract of Eucalyptus citriodora leaves.i am doing single factor experiment leading to BBD design. Kindly point me in the right direction so i can get the better results.
