I want to generate pure oxygen using air. I read about ozone-oxygen cycle. If i have a technique to generate ozone(using either uv light or hight voltage source) , how can i efficiently convert ozone into oxygen, can system have oxygen output comparable to pressure swing adsorption Technology?
This question can't be considered as professional. Catalysis of ozone decomposition is very well developed area. "If i have a technique to generate ozone." The technology is developed and used in industry. How can you separate ozone from nitrogen?

Thank you for response. Since ozone is heavier than nitrogen i.e. Density of ozone is twice that of nitrogen, i expected it to naturally settle down after production.
You are too naive. "naturally settle down after production" never happens. Go back to textbooks. By the way, ozone is unstable. I would advise you to delete your question.

Dear Pritam Shetty, my suggestion we can directly generate oxygen from ambient air by three process they are
cryogenic distillation
an oxygen concentrator
PSA
so no need to generate oxygen from ozone
the reason i think
ozone is not direct component in the air (related to pollution in lower atmosphere)
and you said you r going to produce with UV or high energy source, it may high cost and is not cost benefit and compound process.
I encourage your research idea through instead of air you can try other oxygen source materials to generate oxygen it may new innovation from your side

Actually i observed a strong smell of ozone due to high voltage corona discharge. And within minutes room was filled with that smell. I read ozone is unstable and can decompose into oxygen under certain condition. I was wondering if its easier to separate ozone from air and degrading into oxygen by simple catalytic process. High voltage sources are cheaply available.
Looking at current need for oxygen concentrator i was looking for simpler and cheaper alternative to PSA Technology.
