Adarsh Shetty the first and main question you have to ask what are my needs. If you are going to write papers with many equations than you one solution and if your needs are minimal then your solution is different.
For science/math/engineering , the answer LaTeX as some people already mentioned. If you needs are minimal LibreOffice is your direction. These two ways have associated programs for citation and etc. By the way, the overleaf.com can be used as a collaboration package for latex. work very nice for me.
The minor question you might ask which one produced higher quality
and do you need a higher quality. The higher quality will force you to used the LaTeX family. In the LaTeX family there are many possibilities.
