After getting the perturbed geometry corresponding to the first three mode shapes (by geom update command) performing a non linear static analysis with material (MISO) and geometric non linearity the solution gets terminated at the onset of buckling due to excessive element deformation. The critical buckling load corresponds to the step where the solution starts diverging.
But i'm interested in the post buckling behavior. Is there a way to prevent this divergence and enter into post buckling behavior in ANSYS workbench?
I tried increasing the substeps considerably as well as reducing the mesh size..
Thanks.
