You need to define a reference category when declaring age into logistic regression. Then SPSS will produce odds ratios. Do not forget that you will 3 odds ratios not 4.
Thank you Mr. Mehmat !! Can you please guide on how to define a reference category and which category should be defined as reference category? Is there any logical criterion? Thanks
lt depends on the question you have. Too young or too old might be the reference. Also SPSS allows only first or last categories unless you manually recode the variable or use a contrast. Put age into categorical box and make whatever category the reference.
In binary logistic regression, the depend variable take only two values i.e., either 0 or 1 (if P>0.5 the out=1 else 0). Odds are determined from probabilities and range between 0 and infinity. Odds are defined as the ratio of the probability of success and the probability of failure.
