The best way is to keep reading the aims and scope of different journals in your field. Quiet a few journals have the short communication sections. Maintain an excel sheet and keep updating the information that you find for each of the journals for future reference. Since I am not really into your area of research, I am not in a position to suggest some specific journals to you. However, if I were to give some general suggestion, go for 1) open access journals or 2) Letters journals that generally require your manuscript to be below 2000 words.
