As you said. you can insert a force/moment reaction probe, then you can set the location method to "geometry selection" and select the appropriate node "i.e. node 2 or 3" to find the reaction force/moment on them. A better way in my opinion is to apply a displacement controlled load instead of force in node 2, then you can insert a force reaction > location method > boundary condition > select applied displacement in node 2.

Ahmed Mirghani I tried inserting force/moment reaction probe at node 2 and 3 but I get zero values as force/moment reaction probe gives the value only when that node is fixed. I am not understanding the other method of displacement control load that you are suggesting me. Can you please elaborate a little on that so I can understand it properly and apply it. In general truss analysis:

Moment Sum around a joint = 0

Force Sum around a a joint =0

So it's logical to get zero around joint 2 and 3. However you should get a value for force/moment at node/joint number 1 as you mentioned because you have a fixed support.

You can find force /moment on truss members or if you have another type of support at node 2 or 3 "i.e. simple support or a roller support"

in green nodes you showed in pic above, you have not any load and support condition so it is natural to have Moment=0 and Force=0.

In FEA, in every node you have force or displacement as known values in same time and if your displacement is unknown so your forces (loads) is zero.

In node 2 and 3 you have unknown displacement so undoubtly forces is zero.
