We have received 2ml pleural fluid. We have extract RNA for mRNA library preparation. Please suggest which method or kit needs to use for extarction.
In case of cells isolation, you can use TriReagent/Trizol, Mirvana, etc.
Ensure, what type of content you are isolating, either the whole pleural fluid fraction with cells, purified cells, or alternatively cell-free supernatant fraction. It is not clear from your question if you focuse only on the cells or the cells-containing fluid. Always ensure that kit isolates the fraction of small RNAs.
