Would appreciate help,

I try to extract yeast DNA, I have a very small amount of yeast

And among them a detergent because they have been treated

I want to extract plasmid DNA from them for PCR applications

I tried putting Zimolase then to transfer all for PCR and didn't work

Will yeast boiling break their cell wall?

I thought to boil the yeast and then to do PCR CLEAN UP and to be left only with the DNA

And then proceed to PCR. Is it possible?

thank you

May
