Hello,

I am simulating a unit cell of a photonic crystal in CST. I want to excite a plane wave and be able to calculate S-parameters as well. I understand that you can get a plane wave using a waveguide port as well, if you set the boundary conditions appropriately. But I am not sure whether the boundary conditions that I have are appropriate or not.

If someone can advise me in this regard, it would be a huge help. A picture of my design and the boundary conditions I chose is attached.
