I'm working on a project where I need to estimate how long a battery pack would last for a use case. I have modelled the battery pack using an ECM on Simulink and it has undergone the loads and I get an SoC vs Time graph for a single day. I have experimentally degraded cells and have a Capacity vs Cycle Life graph which I aim to refer to, but I need to estimate how many cycles are present in one day from the SoC vs Time graph.
I have checked the rain flow counting method, but I am a bit confused as to how to get a definitive cycle number after finding the half-cycles and their respective DoDs.
I have attached a sample SoC vs Time graph for a day for reference.
