I am in need of assistance with using HYDRUS 1D Software in order to estimate the volumetric water content at different times.

I have unsaturated hydraulic conductivity, soil water retention curves and initial soil water content data. I am however unfamiliar with Hydrus 1D and am not able to use it in order to estimate the change in water content at different intervals.

This is in an attempt to inversely calculate the root water uptake using measured soil water content values as described by Zuo and Zhang (2002).
