How to do meta analysis?

I want to do meta analytical study. I need the guidance for how to conduct meta analysis in psychological studies.

Dewan Sumsuzzman

1. A software (Revman)

2. Collect mean and standard deviation from your included studies into software

3. Select types of data of your outcome of interest (for ex continuous)

4. Either select fixed effect or random effects

5. Select either MD or SMD

But, beforehand, if have to clear knowledge about risk ration, oods ratio, mean difference, standardized mean difference, binary data, continuous data etc
