Being the project guide how can i find out that the data submitted by the student are a true data. is there any software are in any other method to identify that the data are really collected by the researcher or is simply generated by the computer or by the researcher itself.

it depends on the type of data! in any case, if this data after use seems perfect, ask the student to provide other data to confirm ... if it's very perfect! doubt settles and verification is necessary ...
I agree with Dr. Breuer. The test statistic can be used to detect manipulated or fabricated data.
Indeed statistical evidence of the validity of data is possible via statistical tests (@ Dr. Breuer). However, this may not be applicable to pure qualitative studies. Therefore, I would suggest that both intrinsic and extrinsic validation approaches of sampling procedures and data generated from the field must be provided in such cases. In addition, corroborative or supplementary data to buttress wild claims must be requested (If there is any suspicions of data falsification).
