I am trying to do a 4 point measurement to calculate the sheet resistance of a graphene layer by the van der Pauw method. I am trying to set it up with 1 or 2 potentiostats. I need to induce either a constant current or voltage in 2 points and read the resulting resistance between 2 other points. I am doing this with the Ivium software. Any suggestions on how to do this preferably on a single potentiostat? (Note: I could do this type of measurements with 2 multimeters but the readings wouldn't be very accurate)

from 1 and 2 contacts you pass the i12 - current switching your potentiostat in current mode. You measure the voltage V34 on contacts 3 and 4. The R1 by the van der Pauw (VdP) method is : R1 = V34 / i12. Following VdP method, you find also R2 = V41 / i23.
Yes exactly. So I can set my potentiostat to deliver a constant current through 2 contacts (i12) and to detect V34 through the other 2 contacts? Or is this setup not possible? Do I need to use 2 potentiostats? Thank you for your answer Ioannis Samaras
a) 2 potentiostats, almost never (!, only a good technician), due to errors from (virtual) ground levels.

c) Yes. Q: is this setup not possible? However, for 100% sure, sent me the model type, or the manual.
