I am optimizing some genes for expression in yeast, and it was recommended to me by a colleague that I use an online tool to identify if there are any yeast polyadenylation sites within the gene so I can do codon shuffling to minimize them. Unfortunately, it looks like the tool he used to use is no longer online -- just a database of yeast poly(A) sites. Does anyone know of tools that can be used to do this. Additionally, if anyone has suggestions for other ways to optimize the gene for S.Cerevisiae (I've already done codon optimization through IDT's online tool) greatly appreciated! Thanks.
