After exfoliation and filtration of layered materials, How to dissolve nitrocellulose membrane to get free-standing graphene film or coated on glass slide ?
I read, we need to dissolve it in acetone. I am not sure about the process as i try keeping paper upside down on a glass slide and pour acetone over it. Is that the right method or is there any other method?

In this paper, they used NMP to dissolve the nitrocellulose membrane. Acetone, ACN, or DMF would work too. I guess that sonication will help to accelerate the dissolving of the membrane. If the size of your graphene sheets is too small to be fished out, you can use centrifuge to collect them.

There you can find a description of transfer method of liquid processed graphene from the membrane to desired substrate. No dissolving is required.
