We are trying to detect oxytocin from milk in the rat stomach. We found out that milk there are solid like beancurd. any suggested method to dilute them before centrifuge?
We have dealt with the very same issues. Very smart deciding to get milk from the stomach, the milking issue is full of confounds! We ended up buying a scientific Bullet blender, homogenizing the samples with 1:1 sample:DI water, centrifuging, then running the ELISA on the supernatant. Sonification did not work well, and we struggled with typical homogenization. A really good homogenizer might work, though.
