When I apply initial velocity in explicit solver , reaction probes is not accessible . I can only determine stresses, strains and deformations and damage .
If you can't output reactions at suppport, have you tried looking at "Section Forces" at a section very close to support...these should be equal to reaction :)
I suggest using stiffener element with high stiffness like a rigid support instead of fixing the degree of freedom.
Still it doesn't matter. Remember free body diagram taught in statics and mechanics of solids?
Just try using spring element with very high stiffness at contacted surfaces/nodes, i.e. @ supporting locations
you most define a adequate mesh in the reactions. the prube point only can give results in the nodes. if the node not coincide the reaction point, you are not able to get a "real" result.
@Abhimanyu Kumar @Nawras @Jorge .... Thanks for your input but my problem is still unsolved... I learnt that springs and force reaction probe dont work in explicit dynamics and explicit dynamics results cannot be fed into static structural model...
