I am doing a non linear analysis incorporating material and geometric non linearity. I apply a non linear ststic load higher than the linear eigen buckling load. the analysis terminates on account of excessive distortion of certain elements after reaching a particular applied load ( say 0.75 Papp). while plotting a load deflection curve , I get a good non linear load deflection response. Can i rely on those results even though it stops for excessive distortion, or do I need to incorporate something else so that it does not fail by excessive distortion. ?

The blue curve is Fy vs uy (in plane displacement) and orange curve is Fy vs uz (out of plane displacement).
