I am trying to detect a plant compound Asiatic acid.In literature, the detection is very low 205 nm. When I try at this wavelength, there is huge noise and a baseline shift. I am using acetonitrile and water with 0.1% formic acid as mobile phases. When I increase the wavelenghth the baseline becomes straight but no compound is detected. Kindly suggest what should I do .
