How to formulate model for PH stainless steel which includes effect of precipitate and solutes. Need urgent help on this. Model for PH stainless steel should be able to depict variation in yield strength.
It appears to me that you need to make more clarification on the question and I really don't know what you mean by PH. What type of model? Again, the end goal of the model is not clear. For example, will the model predict the effect of a particular solute precipitate on the yield strength? We have basically Austenitic, Martensitic and Ferritic stainless steels. The type of stainless steel is determined by chemical composition and the strengthening mechanism depends on the phase constituting the microstructure. I think Thermo Calc helps in dealing with some aspects of this kind of study.
Sir, I am working in 17-4 Precipitation hardening stainless steel. Cu precipitates and carbides provides strengthening effect. Major strengthening effect is due to Cu precipitates due to their large quantity. How can I model variation of yield strength with precipitate and carbides ???
