I am trying to simulate Residual Stress in Laser Melting of Titanium Powder but having a hard time to define the plastic material behavior in ABAQUS. I have temperature dependent Tangent Moduli, Expansion Coefficient, Young's Modulus, Yield Stress and Poison Ratio data.
The problem I am having is how can I input the Tangent Moduli data for plastic behavior into ABAQUS?
When I select Plastic properties in ABAQUS CAE it asks for Yield stress and strain rate. Is there a way that I could change the material properties into something that can be fed in CAE directly?

You might need to fit some material data points (stress(=yield stress) vs plastic strain(=total strain-elastic strain corresponding to yield) as an input to software to original stress strain curve that is based on tangent moduli.
you need to do this procedure for several temperature levels.
The other way is to use Johnson Cook plasticity model, which is a little bit complicated but you can set parameters in order to fit your material data on original curve.

Is it possible for you to explain the calculation of the right format of data for abaqus if I send you a PDF of material properties I have.
I cannot use the Johnson Cook model as it is dependent on high strain rates.
