According to your experience, what are the conditions and steps to create a scientific journal indexed in Scopus and/or Clarivate?

There is an opportunity to create a journal. Another step is administrative and it is about obtaining the ISSN registration so that the journal officially exists, for this you need to have a sample version of the journal. It will be necessary to decide if it will be printed or digital and the web design of the same will have to be done, establish the thematic area, the rules for the authors, the publishing norms, the publishing norms and invite to publish. Make arbitration of articles and so many more actions. Scopus and Clarivate suggest that at least the journal has two years of continuous publication to apply and request an opinion for its indexing. If the requirements are not met, the journal will not be indexed. As you can see, the path is long and complex, but it is possible as long as you have the support of an institution and there is the necessary human resource to start a publishing project.

-journal needs to hsve tradition ( in SCOPUS it is at least three years of regular publication)
-EB should be made of people cited in those bases
- journal nees to have transparent review procedures
