I need to count living bacteria in lipid rich food. Which kind of buffer could help mixing uniformly?
I just homogenize in saline (0.85%) and plate on tryptic soy agar. That's about all you need to do if you want to count living bacteria in a lipid rich food.
you can use 0.1 % pepton water and 1 ml trans for nutreint agar media . Single colony is growth in a lipid rich food
I am searching for a good Taq, TA cloning and bacteria strain.
