@claudio Thanks for the reply. I have a graph like the one i have attached. I'm going to work on a simulation and this is my input data. I need to convert it into PSD curve to feed it in my analysis. I have the acceleration and frequency values and the time scale for the entire test would be 30s.
A word of caution: the diagrams above correspond to sine sweep tests which are *deterministic*. PSD describes a *random* distribution of power. Although you can crunch the numbers and obtain a PSD out of sine-sweeps the two represents rather different phenomena.
Giovanni De Morais Teixeira I should have been more specific first..... I'm really sorry for that.. this is the input response spectrum given for shaker table for seismic evaluation of my product. But before getting into real time testing i planned to do a simulation in ansys and for that I can't use this data as it is.. Is there a possible way to convert it into PSD??
I thought about RSA at first but for Seismic we usually prefer random vibration than RSA and even in physical testing we do random vibration for evaluation purpose.
