For some reason our tissue processor had stopped working during last night, leaving my samples (different murine tissues fixed in 4% PFA o/n) in the air before the last ABS-ethanol. I put the samples in ABS again, but I'm wondering if they can still be used...? And should I just run through the rest of the program or do something else before?
My processing program is:
1h 50 % Ethanol
1h 80 %
1h 94 %
2h 94 %
2h 94 %
2h 94 %
3h ABS Ethanol
2h ABS (
Dear Sanna, you should run the rest of stages. It seems the time of stop in dry condition is short, and it is likely that the samples are usable.
Can we get an update on how the samples turned out? I had a similar issue where they were left out for roughly an hour. I'm making a few samples into blocks to see how they turn out.
