Can any one please let me know how to configure ABAQUS solver for ANSYS workbench? So I can run simulations using ABAQUS solver which are pre-processed in ANSYS.
I read the help file, but I'm bit unclear what to do!
Hi, Not sure if this is what you are searching for but anyway.
You can Iinsert Commands as you would Insert force or anything else in your problem. And in that Comands (ADPL) there is an option Definition->Target->Mechanical (ADPL) [as default], but you can change it to ABAQUS among other options.
I can help you with how to run Ansys files in Abaqus, but I don't know how to set them up in Ansys workbench.
If you use Abaqus /CAE, you can import a nastran input file. Or use the translator from the command line: "abaqus fromansys job=... the ansys input file name..."
Obviously conversion is never guaranteed to be 100%, so you might have to fix a thing or 2, but after that you have an Abaqus .inp file that you can execute.
