How to compute the band structure of TM mode for 2D photonic crystals by COMSOL?

Can we use the COMSOL to compute the band structure of TM polarization for the 2D photonic crystals? If yes, how to do it? With the "Bandgap Analysis of a Photonic Crystal" in application gallery, I can simulate the TE polarization. How to adjust COMSOL settings to get band structure for TM polarization. More specifically, how to set the "out-of-plane wave number kz" for TM polarization when we choose "In-plane vector"?

TM mode is the modes penpendicular to your inplane vector.If you calculate the electric field component of you inplane and also out of plane vector over the volume, then may be depending on the comparison of electric field between inpalne and out of palne you could find the TM mode.
