I have results of two tests, test 1 contains (68 data) while test 2 contains (40 results). I want to find the mean and standard deviation of each of them and compare (I mean compare with each other). Can you please suggest a way to overcome the issue of the sample size?.
I would do weighted t-test because variances of these groups may be different.

You can calculate the mean and standard deviation from sample observations, of course.
Subsequently, it is good to check the possible dependence (or independence) of the two samples (the chi-square test may be sufficient).
The use of the t-test can subsequently be used to verify the means of the two populations from which the samples you have selected derive.
However, it all depends on how you have structured the data arrays.
If the data is not normally distributed, use a nonparametric t-test
