Dear all experts,

I'm currently doing a fMRI study and compare two groups in two conditions (switch and non-switch), and wondering if they have differences in one ROI (region of interest).

Therefore, I ran a Mixed ANOVA (2 groups by 2 conditions) to see if they have interaction. The result is ''yes' they do have interaction between groups and conditions, then I found that there's no groups main effect but has conditions main effect. So I further compare the simple effect (Paired t test) between two conditions in two groups.

The result is that both groups have significant differences between two conditions. According to the graph, however, one group has larger difference (bigger gap) compare to the other group, and the values of Cohen'd does indicate that one group is larger than the other.

So could I use Cohen's d say although both groups reach statically significant differences between two condition, but based on the effect size, the difference in B group is much powerful than A group. In the other word, B group had larger difference than A group.

If I can explain it on this way, how to say the effect size of group B is 'significant bigger' than A?
