I am currently working on the development of a new data normalization technique, but although I have searched SCOPUS and Google Scholar I cannot find a simple way to compare the proposed technique with other existing normalization techniques such as standardization or Min-Max normalization. Does anyone know how I can design a statistical scheme that allows me to compare which data normalization technique is better, regardless of the dataset used?

Alessandro, I agree that no method is better than another in general, it depends on the specific research interests and data characteristics. However, I need to know what statistical technique I can use to compare data normalization methods considering their performance in relation to a particular dataset. That is, how to measure the effect of normalization either by comparing non-normalized data with normalized data, or how to compare data normalized by different normalization techniques. If you can suggest me something else it would be great.
