I have to model a load-slip between steel concrete composite shear studs as nonlinear spring. I have Load vs Slip data. How to code that in abaqus?
I heard, there is no GUI way to do nonlinear spring in abaqus. Kindly some one give a sample code for this?
Hi Kavi. In order to define a nonlinear behaviour for a spring, you need to open the input file, and make few changes (write 'nonlinear' and your load-displacement values). Here, I've written an example of a nonlinear spring:
*Spring, elset=name, nonlinear
1, 1
-10000000.,-0.01
0, 0
Ya Ya, I made this.
It accepted this syntax but ended up in error while analysis and exited in first step itself.

I made same same changes as you said (@Mr.Baiqure). But received this problem:

How can I fix this problem?
