How to clone the mouse OX40L gene ?

Hi everyone I am cloning the mouse OX40L gene into an expression vector but I have got a problem with getting the mRNA from the mouse cells. I have tried some cells including skin cells, splenocytes and splenocytes derived from Leishmania infected mice but the gene was not expressing. I would appreciate it if anyone helps on how I can copy the gene and which cells I should use. Thanks
