I want to find out potential mechanisms of the effects of a certain gene on recombinant protein productivity . So proteomics analysis was performed between a high expression of my testing gene and a control cell (no expression of the gene). Could anyone help me that how I can choose my following testing target from the PPI and KEGG data of DEGs because the moics data are so many. Thanks a lot!
Did you check the fold change between the two groups? And the significance of the difference?
Prarthana Gopinath Yes, I did. I verified the top five proteins with the highest fold change but I do not know what to do next, because these proteins seem not to be very close to the new phenotypes of the testing group. Furthermore, these proteins are so disperse that they do not belong to the same biological processes or signal pathways. I also have some other candidates proteins from PPI data, but still have the problem of what to do next.
