Hello, I am a beginner at comsol, I am trying to make a ring resonator using COMSOL and I want to use Gold/ Silver. But I want to khow what should be the way to choose the structure and how to get the notch frequency?

You need to do study where you change between silver and gold in the same exact experiment, that is easy to do and you can find it in the switch part in the materials section; to do a structural analysis of deformation caused by a frecuency you need to add the acoustics module in the physics and add the frecuency you want (~60 Hz); you need to do the study in the frecuency domain or in time dependent. Then you can have the results for the deformation of length and diameter plotting the results for the deformation.
