In my research, I am trying to produce an electrospun mat with a blend of PAN/PANi. However, I have found in the literature that they use aniline (distilled), emeraldine salt, or emeraldine base form. I would like to know which one is the best option to increase the conductivity of the composite.

Dear Domingo Ricardo Flores-Hernandez , aniline is just the monomer, so you should oxidize it to form the polyaniline. Emeraldine is the more stable form of PANi, and it can appear as emeraldine base, (neutral) the insulating form or as emeraldine salt, (with the iminie nitrogens protonated by "doping" with some organic or inorganic acid) the conductive form.
So, you could buy directly the emeraldine salt (for instance, Aldrich uses a proprietary organic sulfonic acid to protonate the base):

Or you could start with the emeraldine base and by mixing it with some acid to get the conductive salt form, like in this paper by Hosseinzadeh et al., where the authors used camphor sulfonic acid as dopant agent to obtain the conductive polymer from the neutral polyaniline.

I saw some paper on electrospining of polyaniline. Emeraldine base form is freely soluble in NMP. So Polyaniline emeraldine base is preferable
