I need to select a transparent glass for solar still. but i know the specification all. but i need high transmissivity glass. but i dont know what brand , and what thickness i should choose. i have fixed 4mm thick. but where can i buy the glass? how can i know about what is the transmissivity, reflectivity of the glass which i am going to purchase? if anyone knows please inform me.
Smita Joshi thank you mam, but now I am studying in NIT calicut. and i want clearly what company which i can afford here and suits my specification. can you tell me how can i found out the transmissivity, emissivity of a particular glass?

Conventional glasses (4 mm plate glass) has approximately 90-92% transmissivity value. I think this value is sufficient for a prototype. You can use the articles below for more information about your question.
