I am running an FSI simulation using ANSYS (FLUENT+Transient Mechanics+Coupling System) and my simulation diverges in the middle of the simulation. Now, I want to check the result up to the crash point. I would be grateful if you could help me with it
The usual approach is to write regular backup files. Once the simulation crashes, re-initialize and continue the simulation from the last valid set of backup files until shortly before the divergence related crash. Write 3-5 iterations before the crash an as complete as possible sets of results files and than analyze whether you can recognize any physical or numerical reason for the divergence.

There exists two easy options. You can either monitor your simulation while it is running by just connecting remotely using linux commands and the server number where your model is being solved or you can set up monitors in your model before sending it to the server so that the software write them in a folder while it is running.
In both cases, you will know if the simulation is properly solving before it stops due to divergency.

Thanks for your help. I think there should be another way that you can change some lines of the report file created by ANSYS and you can check the results without needing to run it again. have you used this method?
Mohammad Amin Faghihi Zarandi : Not that I would be aware of. And how that should work, if results before the crash had not been written to the filesystem? And btw: what do you exactly mean with ANSYS report file? Are you running this under ANSYS Workbench or standalone with system coupling?
