I have design PCF-SPR biosensor in COMSOL MULTIPHYSICS software. At metal dielectric interface different order spr mode( 4th,5th, and 6th order mode) observed. Similarly, different order core mode( 2nd, 3rd,4th) appeared in silica material. Fundamental mode is not appeared in silica material.
1. How can coupling condition find in term of
(a)Resonance frequency (b) confinement loss peak curve( not fundamental mode appeared)? Which core mode(order) coupled to plasmonic mode(order).
Which core mode(order) coupled to plasmonic mode(order).
2. Confinement loss curve always appeared in gaussian type curve( single plasmonic peak). What is nature of SPR loss curve.
3. Kindly suggest some books related to coupling mechanism in PCF-SPR biosensor.
