PC-MRI gives 32 phase images on the carotid artery. I could easily draw the plot of velocity versus percent of the cardiac cycle. How I can estimate the total time of the cardiac cycle with these images (for example 1.2s)?

First you need to verify if your scan was retrospectively gated or prospectively triggered. In case of prospective triggering, the MRI operator defines the heart rate prior to the scan (the number is stored in DICOM tag 0018, 1088). This number then also defines the time of one cardiac cycle.
In case of retrospective gating, you can calculate the time of one cardiac cycle by the time between two phases (DICOM tag 0020, 0110, which states the temporal resolution) multiplied by (number of phases + 1). For instance, if time between phases is 30 ms, the cardiac cycle equals 30 x (32+1)= 990 ms.
