Good Evening to Dear Group members. Could anyone please answer my doubt, about the calculation of the value Exogenous/Endogenous variables in the Measurement model?
We can calculate the "Beta -coefficient" if we know the value of both Independent variable (Exogenous/Endogenous variable) & Dependent variable (Item).
But, here we do not know the value of the Exogenous/Endogenous variable. So, how do we determine the Beta coefficient b/w Exogenous/Endogenous variable & its Item?

I am not sure, I understand you correctly. If you mean the latent variable, then you should introduce the latent variable into the model. It should be reflectively connected to your (in)dependent variables. Search by YouTube for handling second order constructs in AMOS. Or if you use the SmartaPLS, also for formatively related items. There is a good tutorial by Gaskin on YouTube.
When introducing correctly, AMOS/SmartPLS will calculate B values also for latent variables.
If you want to calculate an exogenous (not presented in the measurement) variable, you can try to introduce a new latent variable puting into it Al items which should have been also influenced exogenously. If it is exogenous and influencing all items in your model, then something similar to a common latent factor (CLF) would be suitable, wouldn't it? CLF will produce effects (B-value) which can be found in the results table. The weakness is, however, that you put too much into this factor. For example, the common method bias will also be there.

Thank you, for the reply sir. Surely, I would watch those videos for a better clarity. Actually, my question was, "Whether there is any method for the "manual calculation" of the "Latent variable" score in SEM?" Actually, it is said that, in CB-SEM, the "Beta values" are generated automatically by AMOS, but there is no mention of "Latent variable scores".
It is also said that we should use the "Weighted mean" to calculate the "Latent variable score" in the "PLS-SEM".
But, my doubt is, "What is the underlying assumption in the "CB-SEM" to determine the values of the "Latent Variable score"?"
