I want to prepare a 1.45 M mixed-cation lead mixed-anion perovskite solution of Cs0.17FA0.83Pb(I0.90Br0.10)3 in DMF. The precursors are CsI, FAI, PbI2, and PbBr2. How can I Calculate the stochiometric weight of each precursor materials to get this molar concentration?
There is not any perfect technique to calculate the stoichiometry of the film. EDX, XPS, XRD fitting, ICP measurements, no one can give you conclusive data.
However, in your case presence of organic moiety complicates the situation. I will prefer to conduct XPS on Cu/Gold substarte to find the stoichiometry. Use CASA XPS for this purpose. You will thus get amount of Cs and Pb first . Then chack the amount of Br. You have to calculate the amount of I accordingly coming out from CsI, and PbI2. Then by subrtacting it you can get a rough information of FAI.
