I'm planning to conduct a Pilot Feasibility Study of a digital health intervention for individuals with low back pain. However, I wonder how I have to calculate the sample size, as feasibility will be the primary outcome.
Any help will be really appreciated!

First of all, pilot- and feasability studies are often two seperate things, although there does not seem to be consensus on the similarities and differences. If it is a feasability study, randomized or not, a formal power calculation is not usually carried out. As you say, the focus is on the feasability. Thank you very much for your answer. Although the inconsistency in the definitions, I consider that all pilot studies are feasibility studies but that some feasibility studies are not pilot studies. In my case, I'll conduct a pilot study that primarily intends to evaluate the feasibility of both the intervention program and the study protocol.
