For materials with an emissivity of less than 1 (All none ideal materials) the apparent temp. differs from the real temp. as described in this link:

The author discusses that if from real temp. , apparent temp. , and emissivity , two are known the other remaining one can be calculated but doesn't point to the formula or the law .

What i actually want to do is :

heat a material to a specific temp. and measure the apparent temp. and using the method i hope to find , calculate the emissivity. As i think its possible based on what i read in that link.

P.S. by apparent temperature i mean the temp. measured by remote means as opposed to real temp. that is known by waiting for temperature equilibrium in a known temp. environment , contact sensing or controlled heating o the object
