Am thinking you meant resources and examples on how to manually calculate the beta coefficients. You can start with the understanding that the response variable (classified to group 1 or 0- success or failure) is the logistic transformation of the odds. i.e., logit(odd) which enables linearity of the right expression - the predictors.
