I am using COMSOL ray optics physics. I want to calculate light absorption in silicon solar module. In that case, light behavior (reflection, transmission and absorption) in each layer such as EVA, Upper glass cover of solar module need to be analyzed. I am using a wall condition at back side of PV module and calculate the transmitted power. I am propagated 345 rays with source power 1W. But in the results i got very less transmitted power at 1000nm wavelength. I also want to ask you all, how i can calculate absorption in each domain of solar module. Is there any equation or node to insert in COMSOL model? The picture of PV module is attached here.

You can use the "deposited ray power" to get absorption data in volume.
About the low power transmission, maybe the absorption is very high in your top layers. you can check in a simpler system first to make sure the model is set up correctly.
